The Open Door Dance Foundation was created in 2012 to assist aspiring dancers through financial scholarships and performance opportunities. Since its inception it has grown to include a performance ensemble, made up of students ages 9-19, and an inclusive dance program for students with and without disabilities. The ODDF has granted over $20,000 in scholarship assistance to dancers attending university programs, summer intensives and private dance studios. As the need for programming continues to grow, the foundation relies on funding sources such as grants through local arts organizations, private donors and fundraising events.
